Please join the Esri Boston State and Local Government team on Monday, April 4 at 11:30 AM for a Special Virtual Esri Community Connect Event in the Buffalo Region! This event is open to GIS and non-GIS users in any industry who would like to stay connected with the GIS community and learn how GIS and Esri solutions can be used to tackle similar challenges faced by most organizations.

The featured speakers will be from the City of Syracuse, Conor Muldoon, Deputy Chief Innovation and Data Officer, and Joanna Bailey, Data Analyst from the Innovation Team. They will present on the real-time snow operations at the City of Syracuse. Recently, this city-wide project was featured on Syracuse’s local radio station WAER. An Esri Industry Blog by Adam Carnow earlier this year, The Geographic Approach to Winter Weather Operations, describes how GIS provides the ability to manage location-based winter weather operations in real-time including tracking crews and equipment in the field.

Please go to the Esri Boston State and Local Gov’t Team Hub Site at https://esri-boston-office.hub.arcgis.com/pages/esri-boston-events  and scroll down to the Calendar, find Esri Community Connect – Buffalo Niagara Edition, and click Attend to register.
