Do you know someone passionate about GIS or an individual who has contributed to the betterment of the GIS community here in New York State? Here’s your chance to nominate a colleague or your team to be recognized among your NY GIS peers for their achievements!
Submissions are now being accepted in the four award categories listed below. Review the NYS GIS Association Awards Program Instructions and Procedures for details on each award, eligibility requirements, and procedures.
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Individual Contributions to the Profession
- GIS Champion Award
- GIS Application Award
Access the nomination form as a Google Form or download the Microsoft Word template (.docx). Submit the Google Form directly to the Awards Committee, or email the completed Word template.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, September 11, 2026.
Winners will be recognized for their achievements at this year’s NYS GIS Association Event
