BetaNYC invites you to join them on Saturday March 2 for NYC School of Data — a community conference that demystifies the policies and practices around civic data, technology, and service design.

This year’s conference kicks off NYC’s annual Open Data Week and features OVER 24 sessions organized by NYC’s civic technology, data, and design community for YOU! Our conversations and workshops will feed your mind and empower you to improve your neighborhood.

This year’s conversations will focus on four key areas: digital literacy & privacy, smart & wise cities, effective & open government, and civic & government technology.

All participants will be served a light breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages. Thanks to Microsoft Cities, we will continue to have *on-site, free childcare* staffed by professionals from Sitter Studios.

Thanks to NYC Analytics for increasing government coordination to create a jam packed day of sessions, workshops, demos, lighting talks, networking, and office hours with Agency data coordinators!
