If you use any of the GIS web services provided by the ITS Geospatial Services Bureau, you will need to update your connections in the coming months.  They are migrating services to a new platform.  As announced in May, the NYS Geocoder is now available on the new GeoHub platform (NYS Geocoding Service | gis).  Their vector data services will follow, migrating from its.gisservices.ny.gov to GeoHub.

The new platform means the URLs will change.  The vector data services will be available on GeoHub this Summer.  They plan to keep the legacy services on gisservices available until Fall, at which time they will turn off those services.

They have created a site where you will be able to track progress of the migration: Migration of Web Services | gis.  They will also continue to send updates via the GISNY listserv.  Please let them know if you have questions or have issues using the services once they are available on GeoHub.
