2009 Summit Review

attendees

This year we had 187 people attend this years Summit at Proctors GE Theater in Schenectady, NY despite the economic times. It was the second highest total attendence since the Summits begining. This years central location people were able to attend from down state and surrounding states, where did all the people come from? (view map on the left) Without the gracious Sponsors there would be no event and this year we had four new Sponsors!

The evening before reception has been a hit for anyone wishing to spend and eclectic evening networking with peirs. The grand stage of the historical Proctors Theater was the site for this years reception. Since the begining of the Summit, we have been honored to have Adena Schutzberg to act as narrator and speak at our Summit event. She is a writer for the online Directions Magazine and each year recaps the Summit in her on-line blog. If you didn't have a chance to attend this years Event visit Adena's recap online at Directions Magazine at http://www.directionsmag.com/article.php?article_id=3171. This year we also had the pleasure to have four teachers and the Superintendent from Hannibal Central Schools to learn more about the GeoSpatial way of thinking. Read their review of this years Summit!
