2007 Summit

Read Comments and See Pictures

Summit attendees were invited to join us the night before for an evening reception at the beautiful Welch-Allyn Lodge on June 7, 2007 from 6:30–9:30pm. The Reception was topped off with a presentation on the book and Academy Award winning documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" from Dr. Richard Iuli, presenter for The Climate Project®.

The Road to the Summit

We hope you recall attending the first-ever NYS GeoSpatial Summit on June 9th, 2006 at the Tannery Pond Community Center in North Creek, NY. NYS GIS Association and the NYS Office of Cyber Security and Critical Infrastructure Coordination are teaming up again for another NYS GeoSpatial Summit to be held on Friday, June 8th, 2007 with a special reception the evening before. The Summit '07 event will be held at the Welch-Allyn Lodge, just outside of Skaneateles, NY. The Lodge will accommodate 250 people and is centrally located in the Finger Lakes region. New this year was an evening reception at the Lodge on Thursday, June 7th.

In Review

We invite you to check out last year's website to see comments from others who attended Summit '06 and to read the article written by Adena Schutzberg (our panel moderator) and published in Directions. And if you haven't signed up yet for the NYS GIS Association (it's free!). It's an easy online process located under register at the top of the page.
