The 2026 New York State GeoSpatial Summit, October 6–7, 2026 in Skaneateles, NY is just around the corner.
It is not too late to register for the various activities of the Summit! Registration remains open, and will continue right up to the day of the Summit (with one exception – see below for details).

The NYS GIS Association is looking forward to hosting an exciting slate of innovative thinkers from the business, academic, and nonprofit sectors on the cutting edge of geospatial technology for the 12th Summit, which will bring together GIS professionals from across New York State for learning, collaboration, and networking.
Activities for Tuesday, Oct. 6 include:
- A boat tour of Skaneateles Lake, presented by Carlson
- The NYS Digital Public Land Record Access Meeting
- The NYS GIS Association Annual Meeting (open to all, regardless of registration for the Summit)
- An evening reception, presented by Dewberry (including the Association awards presentation and an update from the Association GeoAI Committee)
Wednesday, Oct. 7 will feature the core Summit programming, with morning and afternoon presentations and panel discussions, as well as breakfast and lunch.
Special Feature for 2026:
Boat Tour of Skaneateles Lake
Start the Summit by joining your fellow geospatial colleagues for a scenic boat tour of Skaneateles Lake, sure to be surrounded by spectacular fall foliage, on the Judge Ben Wiles of the Mid Lakes Navigation fleet. Special thanks to Carlson for supporting what is sure to be a memorable event. A light lunch will be provided. Note that a separate fee applies for this event, and the deadline to register for the Boat Tour is by end of day Thurs. Oct. 1!
