Get ready to mark your calendars because the 2024 Westchester County GIS User Group Meeting is near! We are thrilled to invite you to join us on May 16th, 2024, at SUNY Purchase College for a day filled with insightful presentations, networking opportunities, and hands-on learning experiences.
For over a decade, the Westchester County DoIT GIS, in partnership with Environmental Studies at SUNY Purchase, has organized the Westchester County GIS User Group Meeting, the largest annual gathering of geospatial professionals in the Valley. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with industry-leading geospatial representatives, identify opportunities for collaboration, and participate in presentations from local GIS programs, nonprofit organizations, and industry leaders.
Last year’s first in-person event post-pandemic drew over 160 attendees.
We are currently organizing the agenda and coordinating the speakers and sponsors for the event. Sessions will cover various topics, including local government GIS initiatives, system migration, data improvements, social equality, GIS resources, and updates on County initiatives such as 2023 Basemap, OnCall Dispatch, MS4, and more.
