PEF Represented Employees Reimbursed
The PEF Negotiated Workshop Seminar Reimbursement (WSR) Program is administered through GOER. It allows PEF represented employees to be reimbursed for registration fees for Workshops, Conferences and Training up to $1,000 per year (as of 2013) for job or career related workshops. Since the New York State GIS Association is on their list of approved organizations, PEF members can be reimbursed for the cost of registering for the 2013 NYGeoCON in Saratoga Springs, NY November 12 – 13, 2013. Professional Leave may also be granted with prior supervisory approval.
You must create a PSTP user account and keep digital receipts for both your registration confirmation and a confirmation email from NYSGIS stating you attended. After the conference, you simply fill out the online form and wait for the check.
