The New York State GIS Association invites you to attend an upcoming webinar “Three ways to Increase your Geospatial Data Processing Efficiency” presented by Lesley MacKenzie of Consortech on Tuesday October 15, 2019.
Date: October 15, 2019 — Time: 10am-11am
Abstract: FME Server is an enterprise application designed to automate repetitive data tasks enabling geomatics and IT departments to save time and resources when integrating geospatial data.
In this 45-minute webinar, learn about three use cases you can easily reproduce that will have a direct impact on your day-to-day work by increasing the value of data through unified systems:
- Scheduling jobs, ensuring staff is leveraging the latest updated information across the organization.
- Job triggering through ‘’Automations’’; trigger a job to run based on an event such as a file arriving in a folder, an email or from a web service. This allows for responsive or near real-time data processing.
- Providing on-demand services; upload/download data allowing staff/partners/contractors to get the right information when needed
