Regarding Parking in Cooperstown:
Parking is extremely scarce on Main Street and the surrounding streets. In addition, parking is limited to two hours on Main Street and most other streets in the Village of Cooperstown. These parking rules are STRICTLY ENFORCED. There is a centrally-located parking lot on Chestnut Street/NY-80 that may have limited space available. Parking space will be limited at event venues.

From the West
- Take I-90 east to Exit 30 at Herkimer
- Take Route 28 south to Cooperstown
- To Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum:
- Heading south on Route 28, turn left onto Main Street and proceed east to 25 Main Street
- To Otesaga Resort Hotel:
- Follow Route 28 and merge onto NY-80/Chestnut Street heading north
- Turn left onto Lake Street and proceed north to 60 Lake Street
From the East
- Take I-90 west to Exit 25A
- Take I-88 west to Exit 24
- Take Route 20 west to Route 80
- Take Route 80 south to Cooperstown
- To Otesaga Resort Hotel:
- Continue heading south on Route 80 and proceed to 60 Lake Street
- To Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum:
- Continue heading south on Route 80 and make a right onto Chestnut Street
- Take your next left onto Main Street
- Proceed east on Main Street to 25 Main Street
From the North
- Take I-87 south to Albany
- Take I-90 west to Exit 25A
- Take I-88 west to Exit 24
- Follow Route 7 to Route 20 west
- Take Route 20 west to Route 80
- Take Route 80 south to Cooperstown
- To Otesaga Resort Hotel:
- Continue heading south on Route 80 and proceed to 60 Lake Street
- To Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum:
- Continue heading south on Route 80 and make a right onto Chestnut Street
- Take your next left onto Main Street
- Proceed east on Main Street to 25 Main Street
From the South
- Take I-88 east to Exit 17
- Take Route 28 north to Cooperstown

- Continue heading North on Route 28 and merge with Route 80 heading North
- Take Route 80 North across Main Street to Chestnut Street/Route 80
- Take next left onto Lake Street and proceed to 60 Lake Street/Route 80
