NYS Drone Mapping Full Day Workshop

For the first symposium of its kind in New York State focused on Mapping with UAS, the NYSGIS Association has brought together regional leaders and innovators in the field for a full day of discussions on a wide range of topics including:

  • Hardware, software considerations
  • Educational and government program implementations
  • RTK, PPK, and Ground Control technologies
  • Mapping best practices and pitfalls
  • Application areas including transportation, infrastructure monitoring and 3D modeling
  • And more…

Discussions will be appropriate for the novice and the seasoned drone veteran alike. Content is being submitted for NYS PE/LS continuing education credits.

Framing your Message to Advocate and Educate Half Day Afternoon Workshop

Learn techniques to develop and frame persuasive messages for your audience. How you say it, is sometimes more important than what you say.  Understand your personal style and how to tailor your message and content to motivate your community, team or project.

This workshop is designed to help you:

  • Identify and understand your audience (including millennials)
  • Create a compelling message to change awareness, attitudes and persuade
  • Adapt your style to blend with others to improve interactions, collaboration and decision making
  • Understand contributing factors for a successful messaging and outreach campaign
